Welcome to Siparia, home of "La Divina Pastora". We head on all the way to the secluded beach in this south-eastern part of the South Coast along the Columbus Channel known as "QUINAM BAY" where after years of a major beach restoration, Quinam Bay is now a beach one can comfortably brag about. It is here we start our 5.75 mile beach walk all along great sea shoreline all along the way until we eventually reach to the well-known "Beach Camp" in Palo Seco where the hike concludes. Rest assured that this beach walk is of course flat walking throughout.

Attire & General Information

Wear long/short trousers......your choice

Wear long/short sleeve tops. No sleeveless.

Wear hiking shoes/trainers with good grips under the soles. No slippers or sandals please.

Use a backpack thereby keeping both hands totally free.

Bring along mosquito repellent.

Bring a change of clothing which will be left in the vehicles.

Important Notice - Re: COVID-19

Due to the state of  this pandemic the Corona-virus epidemic, in order to maintain my usual high standard of service on to my fellow hikers and fitness enthusiasts, for this "Beachcombers Event", no more than "(15) fifteen hikers" will be entertained whatsoever. Safety, and security is NTITT's utmost prime focus and of course, your well-being will be monitored every step of the way throughout the duration of the expedition.

Please read the guidelines carefully that will be the order of the day:

  1. A 15 minute grace will be given for late comers. At 6:15am, we depart Mount Hope to our destination. The objective here is to "START EARLY AND FINISH EARLY".

  2. Along the way, we will be making 2 brief stops to ensure that everybody is together as a convoy.

  3. Upon registration, a temperature test will be taken from each hiker to ensure everyone is healthy and good for the walk.
